This was a particularly special one for me - photographing my very first wedding.

Marc approached me way back in 2014 at an Edinburgh open mic night I used to photograph. “How would you feel about photographing our wedding?” came the question. Imagine my apprehension! After letting Marc and Graham know that I’d never done this before, they still wanted me to photograph the day! So I packed absolutely all of my gear, hired a lens I didn’t yet have, and set off into a beautiful September day and gave it my absolute best!

They and their guests were incredibly welcoming and warm, and this fun, extraordinary and unique wedding became the first of many more to come. I’m incredibly grateful to Marc and Graham for having faith in me to shoot their wedding as my very first, and this day will always hold a special place in my heart.
